In this episode of Subterranean on MTV2, Jim Shearer interviewed Imogen Heap. Her album, Speak For Yourself, was released a year ago. Here's the playlist for episode #171:
The Raconteurs - Level
Psapp - Hi
Arctic Monkeys - Leave Before The Lights Come On
Gnarls Barkley - Gone Daddy Done
Atmosphere - Say Hey There
Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins - Rise Up With Fists
Imogen Heap - Hide & Seek
Muse - Knights Of Cydonia
Death Cab For Cutie - I Will Follow You Into The Dark
This episode was all about the mtvU Woodies, which air Thursday at 8 PM on mtvU. If you're part of the 99% of the population that doesn't get mtvU, you can watch it on mtvu.com when the time comes. I can't remember if Jim mentioned that on the show or not.
Nothing too special in the way of videos this week, with the exception of new Arctic Monkeys. Anyway, if you like Imogen Heap, go to mtvu.com Thursday night and watch her perform.
MTV.com has have the whole episode online, as always. Watch it here: http://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?name=features&id=1544069

I set the VCR and it taped, but the wrong tape was in there. I saw as far as Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins and the tape ended. I Kinda like Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins bein they are southern and all like me. Yee Haw!
I have been watching Subterranean lately via my After Affect's Class. It is really Cool!
My compliments to Subterranean and MTV2 for making the show available on line!
Haha, the video for Hi was quite creative and cute. Little figurines that dance to the music! I think the video went well with the catchy tune.
I hope I can remember to catch the mtvU Woodies on the website. I don't think Jim had mentioned that on the show, so I am glad that you did.
The picture that you chose for Imogen Heap looks nice.
